East London – Football Activator

StreetGames and The FA have developed this workshop which explores some familiar ways and some informal ways football can be included in the activities you play, coach or facilitate in your community setting. There are various ways to play, take part and engage young people in football, many of which are included in this resource.

The aim of the Football Activator workshop is to show you how you can add your own ideas and thoughts to skills and activities, to engage young people in football within your community setting.

Who is it for: Community sport project leaders, coaches and volunteers.

Course prerequisites: There are no compulsory pre-requisites for this workshop. It offer the chance to build on skills previously gained through courses such as Sports Leaders UK Level 1, 2 and 3 awards; national governing bodies of sport awards; and youth and community qualifications.
