Midlands – Delivering Curricular Drama in Primary Schools

Designed and developed exclusively for Premier Education Group delivering curricular drama in primary schools one day training course aims to develop the learner’s knowledge of how to deliver drama based topics with a continuation of students learning. With a focus on adaption and differentiation of topics, the course will teach learners how to write, plan and deliver a scheme of work to any age group.

On successful completion of this course, learners will;

• have a clear and practical understanding of how to teach a range of schemes of work to KS1 and KS2
• be able to adapt a scheme of work to suit any age group
• understand the ‘Product’ that they are selling to schools and be confident to be able to approach schools with the ‘Product’
• explore and experience a range of drama games and activities to use within a scheme of work
• understand, plan and use a scheme of work
• understand, develop and plan the learning outcomes
• understand, plan and deliver a lesson plan
• be given examples of activities and be able to adapt them for different age groups and topics
• be given a range of resources and stimulus
